Just got home from a screening of this movie. Did not know much about the story going into it... just thought it was going to be just another feel-good sports movie and was I ever wrong. This movie is all about heart, character, faith, attitude, friendships, hard work and tragedy.
If you appreciate touching movies like "Brian's Song", you'll appreciate the gripping story surrounding Freddie Steinmark No. 28 of the 1969 College National Champion University of Texas football team.
Very well written, casted and acted. Would definitely recommend seeing it. Mostly family friendly with a few mild obscenities... but it is football.
