Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Raynormanbateman . — 12 Aug 2008
This movie probably gained more notoriety for it's nude scene than it's storyline. This is the first role where you see Ledger bury his accent and take on a part that's so conflicted and vying for his father's love.
The movie's theme is mainly about racism and the irony of falling in love with someone you were forced to hate your whole life and it does carry a message of hope.
