Review of Monsters (2010) by Lyle B — 19 Dec 2012
Sadly, this is one of those movies that no one I've ever met has seen, and yet is so good that its lack of popularity is practically a crime. This really was a phenomenal movie - solid acting, tense action, real-world implications, and finally, such emotional connection to the characters that you smile when the characters are having a good time and you feel it when they hurt.
Have you ever just seen the last shot of a movie and the second the screen goes black, your jaw just drops? If not, you need to experience it - so do yourself a favor and pick up Monsters. If so, pick up Monsters anyway.
It is that good.
