Review of Mommy (2014) by Camille L — 21 Oct 2014
This movie is brutal. Not in a violent way, but its raw emotion and close cinematography makes it seem like you're being injected right into a family's turbulent life. With arthouse style usage of music, combined with powerful performances, Mommy explores a parent's unconditional love in the most extreme ways, as well as exploring mental illness and other complex issues.
