I absolutely loved it! It's definitely strange how this film received such a poor rating. People seem to have such high expectations for films, it's nearly impossible to exceed those expectations.
The film was visually stunning and the cast was well picked. Burton's film adaptation of the "Peculiar" books take us alongside Jake and his journey to save his new friends. It is absolutely a wonderful film.
One of Burton's "darker" works, yet his whimsical style is still there.
