An appropriate description of this film would be "incredibly fucked up." Peter Jackson's earliest film sees a troupe of Muppet-esque animals putting on a variety show - whilst simultaneously engaging in sodomy, rampant drug use, date rape, drug dealing, murder, pornography, BDSM, extra-marital sex, Vietnam flashbacks, and coprophagia.
Yes, from the same director who brought us the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy and "Heavenly Creatures," you can rent this film and marvel at how Jackson directed a sequence where a car is driven through a whale's mouth and out its anus.
You've got to see it to believe it.
