Review of Mary Reilly (1996) by Jimmy C — 22 Dec 2009
It's very nice to see "pretty woman" Julia Roberts in an unusual role for her in this spooky thriller, her performance is a joy to watch. John Malkovich is perfectly cast as the creepy and evil Hyde/Jekyll, I believe he's creepy in real life as well! The fog and shadows add to the sense of menace and mystery in the film.
