Review of Manhattan (1979) by Tomek S — 16 Feb 2009
With one of the most picturesque cities as its backdrop, "Manhattan" is an excellent film about the lives of several adults who get caught up in affairs, bad marriages and relationships with 17 year olds.
I don't know if I would have liked "Manhattan" as much if Allen shot it in color. The beautiful black and white cinematography is one of the key aspects that make this film work so well.
