Review of Magnificent Obsession (1935) by Lanfranco C — 25 Dec 2016
This classic melodrama from Douglas Sirk isn't too far off from his other films that I have seen, yet somehow this one didn't work for me. It was a little too cheesy for my taste. Sirk definitely knows how to use colour though and the film looks great.
