Review of Maggie's Plan (2016) by Arseniy V — 09 Aug 2016
A cozy, Allen-esque New York tale. Wherein the warm light from all its highly-capable components, is carefully gathered up and shone back on the characters. Creating a sort of chain reaction where, despite all the "dancing in the dark" that these people (like all people) do - none seem left deprived of said glow.
Least of all Gerwig. Who's work, as per usual, is ridiculously organic and endearing.
