Review of Lola (1981) by Ben W — 02 Oct 2010
Another excellent installment in the brd trilogy. fassbinder provokes as he always does, concerning the economic boom of 50s germany. some incredible performances all around with mario adorf, the great armin mueller-stahl, and especially barbara sukowa.
the art direction is very in your face with a great deal of pink in the lighting schemes that is somehow hugely attractive. great film.
