Review of Little Fish (2005) by Bernard A — 26 May 2008
It's been a long time since I've seen a movie with Cate Blanchett in which she's not in costume impersonating a historical figure or a literary fantasy. A great kitchen sink drama of the hanging on and desperate lives of several people living on the fringes of society in Australia.
Hugo Weaving is wonderful, Sam Neill is lumbering and imposing and Dustin Nguyen has a great future in film. A good find in the DVD store.
