Review of Le Mans (1971) by Vicky V — 26 Jun 2007
As far as I'm concerned the first 20 minutes of this film are an underappreciated artistic masterpiece. I loved the pacing, the atmosphere. It felt more like an art film except for the tacked on romantic subplot.
Takes itself too seriously in the bast possible way: because of a deep passion for racing. Now what could be wrong with that?
