Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Chris H — 10 Jan 2019
Going to a religious school. That must really fucking suck. This movie kind of has a similar feeling to Wes Anderson's movies only it's more loose. I'm liking it.
I love the movie's lightheartedness. Quite clever. There were some really funny burst out laughing moments. A really good and fresh take at what it means to grow up. It's funny how you always go back to what you grew up with, what you know. Seeing her go to a church, now living in New York, and crying really made that clear.
Great movie. I'd give it a re watch.
