Review of Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) by Bob P — 11 Jan 2019
The Kingsman are back! And this time, their secret base of operations has been destroyed by the evil Poppy! Once again another epic spy thriller/parody.
Now, people complain about this movie, but I was very satisfied.
Firstly, I believe that the action scenes were once again magnificent, full of fisticuffs and over-the-top action.
I also thought this movie had more jokes. The mood was much lighter, there was more space for laughs, and I thought Matthew Vaughn perfectly mixed action and comedy.
Eggsy's development is incredibly interesting. How he's coping with his mentor's death, his life since becoming a Kingsman, and really how he just turned from a poor kid doing petty street crime to a polite and educated gentleman.
And, of course, there's the Stateman....
Overall, KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE is a fun and sleek sequel. Really loved the movie.
