Kill Your Friends is a mildly enjoyable film with a strong lead performance. Nicholas Hoult delivers a great lead performance. He makes the movie way more entertaining. His character is unfortunately extremely unlikeable.

You can't really sympathize with him for any amount of time in the movie. The film isn't all that funny. Some of the satire works, but at other times it doesn't. Still, the dark humor and darkness of the story still kept me entertained throughout the film.

The film is of course not as good as American Psycho, but how could it have been? This movie doesn't have a Christian Bale in the lead role. Still, Nicholas Hoult does a fine job in this decent satire.
