I own both the JCS movie soundtrack and the JCS Broadway soundtrack, and I have to say I prefer the movie's. The music and singing are breath-taking, and for me, Ted Neeley plays the perfect Jesus.
Sad, wistful, melancholy, but still graceful and elegant and warm. Carl Anderson is amazing as Judas as well. This is my all-time favorite musical.
