Review of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) by Ronnie L — 22 Oct 2016
Although I am not a huge fan of Tom Cruise, or a fan of his size compared to the real (fictional)Jack Reacher. I give this movie 5 stars. The slow burn and the twist are what makes a Reacher book or movie.
The guessing game of how he is going to figure out the problem. This was done spot on and in spades. I have read reviews that said there was too much action but I don't agree with those. There was the perfect amount.
Not overdone like the newer bond films or as much as I like them the Furious movies. There was a pace that kept you involved without overreaching to keep you pumped with adrenaline the whole time. Reacher is always put in tough situations that make him work his way out of them.
Lee Child should be happy that his books translate well to the big screen. I personally think that Liam Hemsworth would make a great Reacher. He has the build and size that would make him believable.
