Review of Irma Vep (1996) by Liam H — 29 May 2008
Irma Vep is another film about making a film. What makes it stand apart for me is that the main focus is on actress Maggie Chung, who plays herself. Maggie doesn't know French, so she has to communicate in English with everyone.
The language dynamic makes it very interesting. The camera work in Irma Vep is excellent acting is great as well.
