Into the forest is about two sisters who after an indefinite power outage must survive against a lot of odds. With the two sisters having an equal amount of terrible and great luck, they attempt to wait it out in their futuristic home.
After their father somehow seemingly dies from a non-fatal gash in his leg in seconds. Yet like other low-budget films trying to incorporate an apocalyptic setting, it doesn't feel like it. With it relying on characters and emotions to fill the hole.
