This is instantly one of my favorite Coen Brothers movies, and I can't wait for the DVD release. Everything about it is near-perfect, from Oscar Isaac's star turn to the wonderful songs and cinematography.
What you are getting here is nothing like what the movie trailer suggests. A very playful and strange treatment of subject matter in the vein of Barton Fink and A Serious Man - if you enjoy folk music and are a fan of those films, this comes highly recommended.
