Review of Infernal Affairs II (2003) by Andrew R — 08 Aug 2006
The best of the Infernal Affairs trilogy no questions asked. The acting, music and plot were all top class. The ending is one of the most amazingly shot sequences I can think of to date. The pace and style of the film really need to be credited.
The first time I watched this I was in total awe of just how much they'd improved on the first one (and the first ones damn awesome too!). People are usually wary when bringing in inexpierienced actors to play younger versions of the main leads, but with this film you were never left in doubt since the opening that they could do it.
Kudos to them.
