One of the best prequel films I have ever seen. Usually prequels are below the bar set by there forebearer, but not in this case. Utterly in sync with the first Infernal Affairs, this does a great job of weaving together the various threads and characters to set up the first film, while remaining entertaining to the maximum in its own right, as a stand alone film.
An amazing orchestral score makes the various Triad family drama`s very emotional business, and the cast are terrific. Fucking superb!
