Review of Independence Day (1996) by Roger C — 18 May 2012
A wonderfully cheesy mix of Star Wars, Close Encounters and Top Gun, but with the one thing missing from the Star Wars prequels - a sense of humour. Cast and crew know it's all hokum but it's pulled off with such elan it's hard not to love it.
