Review of In the Cut (2003) by Elizabeth N — 16 Jul 2007
This movie is incredible because it is an excellent portrayal of a fairly modest and refined woman coming to exert her true place in the world and overcome the traditional misogynistic-inspired stereotypes that too many heroines in movies seem to succumb to.
This movie should be on every feminist's top ten list, in my opinion. As a side note, nearly all sex scenes are female dominant, further illustrating the feminist themes.
