Review of I Wake Up Screaming (1941) by Chris H — 15 Aug 2007
This is a strange little film which has a little film noir, a little comedy and a little bit of the Wizard of Oz. Betty Grable is great as the female lead while Carole Landis gives an excellent performance in her role as the doomed starlet, with her story told in flashback.
However I'm still struggling with understanding the title...
