The lead actress does the best she can, but - at times - it isn't good enough. For a good chunk of the movie, she's the only character on screen other than the robot. It's a tough role.
Unfortunately, the end doesn't make much sense.
It's not a bad film. Better than most sci-fi flicks that come out these days. But, it's far from great.
