Review of Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992) by Marcus W — 23 Jul 2009

Usually by the third film, most franchises have run out of steam, this one evidently still has plenty of guts, and this is my favourite one thus far. It moves on from the original by utilising "The Pillar" as the trigger instead of "The Box".

It delves further back into the character of Pinhead while also keeping things moving forward, and although the original Cenobites don't appear there are some wonderful new ones. It's clever, very well made and still really inventive.
