Review of Heat (1995) by Richard S — 11 Nov 2015
With an all star cast Detective Vincent Hanna (Al Pacino) hunts down a gang of armed robbers fronted by Neil McCauley (Robert De Niro). After robbing a money truck and killing all of its occupants after an over-zealous accomplice Waingro decides to start shooting it's occupants, the wanted gang plan and rob a major high-street bank.
When catching the gang coming out of the bank a well-performed action-filled public gunfight ensues on the streets of New York ensues before McCauley escapes. When McCauley's whereabouts is tracked Hanna catches up to him at an airport before taking him out.
