Review of He Never Died (2015) by Michael H — 01 Feb 2016
He Never Died is fantastic hidden gem for fans of horror genre. The film mixes gore and deadpan humor fluidly, never feeling tonally uneven. The choice to allow Henry Rollins to play his character with a vacant expression gives He Never Died a notable edges over many other indie horror movies.
While it does drag in some parts, the enigmatic mythology behind the protagonist along with his hysterical lack of compassion for anyone else more than makes up for its minor short comings.
