One of the BEST samurai movies I've ever seen. I repeat ONE OF THE BEST SAMURAI MOVIES I'VE EVER SEEN. I have seen allot of samurai movies this is the one that best epitomizes the idea of honor and what it SHOULD be but unfortunately often is not.
The main characters bitter forced laughter sent a chill up my spine as the bitterness in the laugh foretells the lesson he is trying to instill. As you watch the film more and more you hope the lesson does not fall onto deaf ears for the sake of the real samurai in the story.
