Review of Hannibal Rising (2007) by Michelle C — 25 Nov 2012
This is the best Hannibal film of the genre. I didnt expect that as I was to see it. I thought "WHAT! Hopkins psychosomatic acting not here?!" but as I watched it I saw the red thread so clearly and I totally admire the actor playing young Hannibal, he is right on.
The film is one of the best ever in film history. Everything is here, all the old concepts but also the storyline of Hannibal and his reality. This film was nominated twice, but didnt get any awards. Im supprised for that actually.
This movie should have been the movie of the year without any doubts. And for acting it was perfect. This is a film you will watch over and over again and never grow tired of. Best of the Hannibal films and certanly one of the best films ever made.
Thanks for the thrills.
