Review of Hammett (1982) by Chris C — 12 Oct 2007
Though technically this film is highly uneven--I give it five stars for purely personal reasons. I love the atmosphere, the clothes, the music, and Forrest is downright perfect as Dashiell Hammett! I know the movie is far from a masterpiece.
..but, dash it all (poor pun intended)..I love it!
