Review of Hamburger Hill (1987) by Alex A — 24 Feb 2011
I'm the son of a Vietnam Vet who worked in the Morgue for the U.S Army after this event, so this movie really means something to me. It realistically shows the frustrations of that horrible war. You get attached to the squad as they try to go up the hill that's just as treacherous as Korea's Pork Chop Hill and WWII's Iwo Jima and Okinawa combined.
Although these actors aren't big name actors, it's a good story. Good music. Totally recommended.
