Review of Guns for Hire (2015) by David S — 21 Feb 2016
A rather boring movie that tries to be too smart for it's own good. This is the epitome of throwing together a twist to wrap up a movie for no reason at all, and they think they're so clever revolving the whole story around the most mundane, least relevant character in the story.
A twist should be hinted at, not thrown in. It's like if Inception concluded by saying the whole story was conceived in the mind of a man on a bus scene deleted from the theatrical film. And we're supposed to ooh and ahh at it's brilliance.
No, it's stupid. And so was this movie. Jeffrey Dean Morgan helped the flick save some face with an interesting character, although he was corny as hell. But at least he made me laugh a little. Skip Guns for Hire.
