Review of Goodnight Mommy (2015) by Ricardo R — 16 Sep 2015

I was drawn to this movie after rumors of it being "the scariest one ever" and, although I'm usually a baby when it comes to that stuff, the trailer made me believe I could handle it. I found that it wasn't quite as scary as it was unnerving. It won't keep me up at night, nor will it have me scared of the dark, but viewing it became increasingly uncomfortable. Near the end, I had to cover my eyes just to make it through.

Stylistically, I saw some issues, but overall watching this one was time well spent. Good for anyone into psychological based movies.
