It is one of my favourites, or should I say, my favourite of european movies. Excellent Music, outstanding performances as well as a great story. The best scene for me is the one in which Alex's mum sees an helicopter carying Lenin's statue, her face, the music, everything is marvelous.
Highly recommended.
