Review of Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson (2008) by Craig B — 06 Jul 2008
Such a great representation of Hunter's life and career. It is at times depressing, during others thought provoking and uproariously funny. A great point is brought up about the power his writing could have right now given our political climate and to me it rings true.
What would he say about the upcoming election and what impact would he have on countless voters. This makes the ending a bit bittersweet. Overall though an excellent film on an excellent writer.
