Review of Gone with the Wind (1939) by Felix M — 26 Apr 2012
A classic! Four hours of carefully blended genres to make a perfect film. The cast is brilliant, the dialog is spot on and the story is gripping. People may bring out the racial issues but it is set mostly through the eyes of scarlet and she is likely to be ignorant of how black people were treated , because she comes from a well off family, this a reason why it seems to gloss over those themes.
This movie will never become old and will always remain as fresh as it did many years ago, reminding us of a golden age in hollywood.
