Review of Gloomy Sunday (1999) by Private U — 20 Mar 2008

I love the song this movie is based on, and I swore I wouldn't cry, but cry I did when I finally watched it early this year. It's hauntingly beautiful, intimate, and funny at times. The unique love triangle (or rectangle, rather?) is heartwrenching, and it makes you wonder if a threesome can happily exist.

Perfect date movie if you're looking for something romantic yet different, and don't mind the nudity/getting a bit teary-eyed. It's way better than all the silly American rom-coms/dramas!
