Review of Gleason (2016) by Lenard W — 04 Aug 2016
Gleason works on many levels, but two in particular struck me. First, as the stories of fathers and sons, it effectively shows the love a father gives to his son. Am I the only one who thinks Mike Gleason looks like Mike Martz? The second area where the documentary is effective is in showing the progression of ALS, as it turns an NFL linebacker into a scrawny invalid.
