Review of Girlhood (2014) by Prentice S — 26 Sep 2015
"Girlhood" will likely stand as one of my favorite foreign films, because it packs so much raw emotion into such a simply story. Never before have I seen a coming-of-age film that focuses so much on the emotional development of young women, through sex, drugs, and camaraderie.
This is an excellent film, for sure.
