[color=#ffffff]Astounding rock doc follows the Rolling Stones on a successful 1969 U.S. tour, ending with the notorious Altamont Speedway performance during which Hell's Angels were employed as security and four people were killed.

Concert footage is electrifying, the music is brilliant, and the Maysles brothers turn the eccentric audience members into legitimate characters. A young George Lucas served as a principle camera operator (although none of his footage made the final cut).
