Review of G.B.F. (2014) by Deena D — 21 Mar 2014
Seen as part of BFI Flare. Fun and formulaic, cliched in parts but the ending is not what many may expect. A couple of familiar TV faces (Andrea Bowen from Desparate Housewives and Megan Mullally from Will and Grace) but mostly filled with unknowns who deliver a string of one liners with reasonable accuracy and pace.
The dialogue walks a fine line but it is generally 'totes amaze' with just one or two duff notes. Recommended, particular for a teen audience.
