Review of Flying Padre (1951) by Pandy 3 — 10 Dec 2010
Kubrick's second short black and white documentary is quite weird and funny in a unique way.
Its shorter than the previous one and this time the camera follows a priest that travels between his parish by... his airplane of course! A fast mean for saving time and offering help to all of his flock, just like a humble superhero.
The voice over narration fits great and the picture has overall nice air shots but apart from these is nothing special, just for one view ;).
