Review of Flowers in the Attic (2014) by Tony B — 02 Feb 2014

I remembered watching the old 80s film version of this story when I was a kid and this one looked good with a cast that looked their parts but the movie was very flat, fairly boring, with very dull performances by most of the cast.

This TV movie version went at a fairly brisk pace also, not allowing for much character/story development, not giving the sense of long isolation the children went through nor much tension either. Pretty disappointing when this story has so much potential as an epic film, mini-series or even a full TV series.
