Review of Fear of Fear (1975) by Ezequiel F — 24 Jun 2008
An old woman finds love and companionship from a younger foreigner. This touching film is now an absolute favorite of mine. It's probably one of the first films ever to have themes of interracial relationships.
The unlikely couple in this film are lovable, and the intolerance, prejudice and social expectations that the two have to deal with are painful to bear. I can't wait to see more Rainer Werner Fassbinder films.
