Down beaten w/out a climax; the story of 2 loser boxers on the rise & fall. Every performance is excellent from Stacy Keach, Jeff Bridges, 'Coach Nicholas Colasanto & Susan Tyrrell who might even give Mickey Rourke a run for drunk of the Millennium.
Sorta loses out coming out in 72 against The Godfather but it is just testament to the fantastic movies that came out in the 70s..Fat City should be sought out.
