Review of Fast Food Nation (2006) by Alison P — 31 May 2008
This is the kind of wake-up call we need as a nation. This movie is NOT for the feint of heart. It's brutal and merciless and dramatized. It makes its point with a balance between human drama and hard gut-punching realism.
This is a movie with a clear message and not for those with weak stomachs. It is, at times, deeply depressing and profoundly sad. Worth watching, but watch it with a friend because it can be hard to bear.
