Review of Eros (2004) by Jessie N — 16 Sep 2007
This portmanteau is unfortunately uneven. Wong Kar-Wai's The Hand stands up as some of the very best work he's made (how does he make such films that ooze eroticism and heartbreak?!?!?), while Soderbergh's piece is only amusing at best.
As for Antonioni; his film may be titillating and erotic, but its not much better than a softcore porno. See it for Wong Kar-Wai, but skip the rest!
